Aloha Airlines Bans iPhones
On Thanksgiving Day, Aloha Airlines announced that usage of iPhones are not allowed on Aloha flights as this device is not certified by their airline for in-flight use.
On Flight 470, from Honolulu to Kona to Oakland, the flight crews made this additional warning to the usual prohibited devices on aircraft. When asked about further details about this policy, The Wizards of Technology were advised that this was corporate policy and that they had no further comment or details to share.
If you plan to use your iPhone on a long flight to the mainland, you might want to consider booking with another carrier.
We encourage you to complain directly to the carrier via this contact form

Typical shortsighted idiots
that don't have a clue.
For all that, cell phones
don't interfere with any
of their electronics any way,
they just don't want any one
on the phone while they go
through their little speech.
